Robert P. Bauer, M.D.
It is with a heavy heart we inform you of the passing of Dr. Robert P. Bauer.
After a brave and valiant three year battle with cancer, Dr. Bauer succumbed to his illness on July 21, 2009. He worked up until the two weeks prior to his death because his patients were literally his lifeline. Patient care was always his number one priority. You made him smile, laugh, and he truly enjoyed his time with each and every one of you. Even on days that he felt his worst, it was his patients that brought him joy.
Although the doctors and staff are devastated by this tremendous loss, please be assured that we will continue to maintain the high standards of medical care for which Hudson Valley Eye Associates is known.
